Approximate pastry shell measurements
Product thawing
Place shells in plastic insert on bench and thaw to room temperature – approximately 30 minutes.
Cold set fillings
Simply leave shells in plastic insert and add your cold-set filling (i.e., passionfruit curd), then place in the fridge to set.
Oven temperature
Pre-heat fan forced oven to 140°C.
Fill temperature
Ensure your fill mixture is at room temperature.
Baking time
To bake out a raw fill (i.e., to make a baked chocolate tart):
- To produce a finished baked product, remove shells from plastic insert and place on a baking tray.
- Add a raw fill to the baked shells and place in the oven at approximately 140°C for 9-12 minutes (depending on your fill).
