Approximate pastry shell measurements

Product thawing

If stored frozen, place shells in plastic insert on bench and thaw to room temperature - approximately 30 minutes.

Cold set fillings

  • The RB Baked Gluten Free Savoury Shells come baked and coated inside with savoury glaze, which helps the shells stay crisp for longer.
  • Simply leave shells in the plastic insert and add your cold-set filling (i.e., smoked salmon mousse), then place in the fridge/ serve.

Oven temperature

Pre-heat fan forced oven to 140°C.

Fill temperature

Ensure your fill mixture is at room temperature.

Baking time

Baking time to bake out a raw fill (i.e., egg mix to make a quiche):

  • To produce a finished baked product, remove shells from plastic insert and place on a baking tray.
  • Add a raw fill to the baked shells and place in the oven at approximately 140°C for 7-12 minutes (depending on your fill).
